The proposed "Agri-Factory" concept integrates agricultural production with food processing, ensuring consistent quality and cost control by reducing reliance on open markets. A key innovation is the use of Additive Manufacturing (AM) (3D printing) to produce products and supply chain components, which will lower costs and increase flexibility. The initiative aims for indigenous development of this technology, positioning India as a global leader in the agri and food processing sectors.
